Clinique...Where have you been all my life?

Hey guys, sorry for the silly title it just popped into my head when I was planning this post and I thought it was cute:) Today's post as you have probably already worked out is going to be all about Clinique. I am not being paid to do this, these are all my own personal opinions and experiences...just a little disclaimer there for you all!

So I went shopping in the Trafford Centre last week and I was trying to decide on a new foundation when two of the LOVELIEST Clinique Customer Advisor's came over and asked if we could take part in the 1/2 and 1/2 foundation test. For those who don't know, this is where one side of your face you are wearing Clinique Foundation and the other side you wear your usual foundation. Well, as soon as she applied the Clinique foundation, the difference was insane. The Clinique Foundation she used on my skin came out on Friday, so I managed to get my hands on it slightly early! It is the Beyond Perfecting foundation and concealer. It comes with a doe foot applicator, as opposed to the usual pump foundations, which surprisingly is quite handy. For a fuller coverage with this foundation, it is best to blend with your fingers, although you can use a brush if you wish. The finish this foundation leaves on your skin is just to die for, it's dewy, yet still slightly matt at the same time and it adds so much depth to your face, before you even start contouring. In my opinion this is just a perfect all round foundation.

The next thing I tried in the time I was with the Clinique ladies was the Clinique Colour Corrects Redness Superprimer, which really was amazing. Now that I have found this product I think it is going to become my holy grail of makeup products. I have been struggling for a while to find the perfect anti redness primer, as I have lots of redness around my cheekbone area. As soon as I applied this product I felt like a completely different person, as it hid all of the redness so so well.

The next product I tried I fell in love with, basically instantly! It is a similar packaging to the Clinique chubby sticks lip colours, however it is slightly thicker and it is the Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight. This product was released on the 6th of February, so I managed to get my hands on it slightly early, however I had no time to write this blog post last week, so sorry guys! It is a cream highlighter which is what first caught my eye, as it is so much easier to apply than powder highlighter. I am also going to purchase the Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour, which is the darker contouring colour next week and I am super excited, as when I tried them they complimented each other perfectly. The highlighter has an amazing finish, as it doesn't have to much of a shimmer, it just has a lovely soft sheen to it.

Now onto skincare and I know I am very late to jump on the bandwagon for this product,
but now that I have found it I will never ever go back. It is the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm. The stuff works absolute MIRACLES! I believe Sam and Nic Chapman (Real Techniques, Pixiwoo) where the first bloggers to rave about this product a long time ago. But I have finally purchased it and let me tell you I just adore it! It is so simple to use you just rub it onto your face full of makeup and it almost lifts the makeup from your skin and I then remove it with water. In that one simple step all of your makeup is removed, from your foundation, your waterproof mascara and even your brows! It is fabulous, if I could recommend only one thing it would be this!

I hope you enjoyed this blog post guys and I will see you soon:D
